ABOUT US
ACTION OVER SILENCE: END VETERAN SUICIDE
is a collaborative, community-driven initiative dedicated to preventing suicide among Service Members, Veterans, and their Families/Caregivers in Allen County, Indiana.
We are built on the belief that no Service Member, Veteran or family member should feel alone in crisis—and that communities can save lives when they come together.
We are currently supported by a Community Challenge grant from the Indiana Department of Veterans Affairs and donations.
WHAT MAKES US UNIQUE
- We are Veteran-centered, placing Service Members, Veterans, and their Families/Caregivers at the heart of every decision.
- We are data-driven, targeting our strategies to those identified most at risk.
- We use evidence-based strategies, such as addressing lethal means access during ·challenging times.
- We are community-powered, blending public, private, and grassroots voices to co-create solutions.
